I am the only one?

I hate the way color is getting bumped up in photo and film lately. I’m not sure if it’s just me but the digital imaging capabilities that are going on right now are cool for 3D movies and random ass artwork when i’m stoned and don’t want to think that hard, but everytime i see a new photo of a landscape, or a movie like red riding hood, that rely on this technology as their reason for being marketable or enjoyable i just wanna puke. I feel like i’m watching visual crack… i don’t like crack. Take away the color and all you have is shitty acting, or a bland shot of a few trees. There is a lack of passion that arises from a photographer or a directer pulling every bit of feeling they can into their work. That’s what i like to see pop. I feel like there has been a shift in what these artists look to for material… i don’t like it. Bumping something up is not the same as a subject that is actually pumped up. Color is our reality and film and photo that stray so far from an actual representation of that just leave me with a bad taste in my mouth… from the puke… mainly.

God i hope i don’t sound like I’m in a nursing home bitchin at my nurse who’s contemplating how he could make it look like suicide…
